Account Reconciliation - Checklist to prepare input file

General Instructions

  • The company file and party file should be in a separate file.
  • DO NOT have more than 1 SHEET in the workbook.
  • Column heading should start from 1st row.
  • Column heading should be unique and no heading should be blank.
  • DO NOT keep formulas in the sheet.
  • Date - The value should be in DATE FORMAT, if not then convert it into date format.
  • Date - Remove text field from the date column. Eg. (Blank), Total. 
  • Date - Consider the Invoice Date if there are multiple date columns
  • Amount - After adding the closing balance Check if (Debit - Credit) Amount is 0.
  • Amount - Remove total from the sheet (if any)
  • All Document / Voucher Type should be mapped with Firmway Fields. (Invoice, Payment, Others, Opening Balance, Closing Balance)
  • If the document type is not defined in Firmway then add a column to map Firmway document types.
